The other ground level bedroom is a library with floor to ceiling bookshelves stocked with an adventurous collection of books and other beautifully strange things. An electric fireplace heater keeps it super warm and cozy. This bedroom has a pull out sofa sleeper and another loft bed for two.
loft style master & yoga room
Up the open main house staircase to the third floor, is the lovely loft style master bedroom with high ceilings and skylights, fireplace, and beautiful views.
Enter the large master bathroom through stained glass doors and find yourself in a room with one of the best views in the house!
The sunken tub shower has tub to ceiling windows so you can watch the birds fly and the clouds roll over the mountains while you unwind in a relaxing bath or shower.
Every room in the house, each view, each perspective was created with an artistic perspective. Hidden treasures from nature spirits appear where you least expect them. One of the unique aspects of this home is on a rather large property and positioned well on a road rarely traveled upon. It is VERY private.
This is not a traditional house. (When we say 6 beds, please note that the master bedroom Cal-king bed is easily accessible. Two double beds are lofts which require you to climb a ladder or staircase, 2 double beds are fold out couches, a couch in front of the sunken fireplace room pushes in, and with a memory foam turns into a comfortable bed...two possible twins, not listed, are the window seats, and there is room for another airbed. We have slept 16 in relative comfort, creatively)
Again this is not a traditional space. Beds will need to be unfolded, ladders to be climbed, there is as much outdoor area as there is indoor areas. There are three outdoor fire pits and 3 indoor fireplaces, the hot tub area is lit by twinkle lights, and the outdoor dining area, and a cozy reading nook, is high in the forest canopy. An entire living room suite is outdoors with a perfect view of a wood shaded sunset. Multilevel connected decks let you explore nature from above. Inside, there are elements of nature in ironwork and finely matted art and stained glass abounds. Truly a work of art in architecture, and surprising mischievous art to delight at every turn and in every nook. There are a tremendous amount of "board" and other games*, coloring books and jigsaw puzzles. Enjoy the grill, the gas stove, and french press coffee. There is a sound system through out that works with your phone's pandora. Each shower and tub is its own joy. The library is well stocked with eclectic tomes and eccentricities. Skylights and windows through-out bring the outdoors within. If you chose to roll up the projector screen in the media room, may we suggest giant white-board Pictionary?
Other things to note
Important detail to note... The house is not suitable for children 1-8 yrs old. The house is also not suitable for the elderly or any one of limited mobility. There are too many levels, stairs to climb and potential hazards.
